Our
Design Team can provide Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for
Manufacturing (DFM) verification using Valor Enterprise 3000.
With Enterprise 3000, designs are optimized for excellence using
a physical design model of the PCB assembly - revision spins are
practically eliminated, and you benefit from faster times to market
and improved product quality.
Many contract manufacturing (CM) companies use Valor to evaluate
the manufacturability of the designs. This prevents any surprises
with the manufactured result. Vision Circuit Technologies can
use the rule set of your manufacturer or we can apply any one
of the rule sets we have developed to reflect the capabilities
of your chosen manufacturing process.
Valor
is also able to take two Gerber files as input, compare them,
and produce a report on the differences. This highlights any changes
that have been made through design revisions. Minor design changes
to the Gerber files can be made using Valor rather than having
to cycle the design back to the CAD software.
Verification Services are available as a stand-alone service or
as the final step following our PCB design process. In either
case, an ODB file (or a Gerber file) is used as input to Valor
and the resulting report is provided to you and reviewed with
you by our Design Team.
